The neverending story

I’m very lucky because I’ve always known I wanted to be an actress. I don’t know the exact moment in which this wish appeared, but I do remember that when I was three years old I watched “The Neverending Story” film and I thought: I will never stop playing and living fantasy worlds. Some years later, while reading The Seagull by Chekhov, I discovered a sentence that defined me. Nina says: “When I think of my calling I’m not afraid of life”.

That year changed my life. I was studying Media at the Pompeu Fabra University when Dagoll Dagom started making auditions for the musical “Mar y Cel”. I showed up and they hired me. I worked for the company for five years in shows like “Into the Woods” or series like “La Sagrada Familia”.

I start working as a T6 Company member at the National Catalan Theatre. Four years and ten plays. Then “Toc Toc”, by Laurent Baffie. “Barcelona”, by Pere Riera. “Liceistes i cruzados”, directed by Jordi Prat i Coll. And “No feu bromes amb l’amor”, by Natalia Menéndez. At the same time I act at the Club Super3 tv program for five years.

“You Say Tomato” with Joan Negrié, a play that started in Barcelona and took us on tour to Buenos Aires. About theatre, I also performed in “Infamia” by Pere Riera at the Villarroel Theatre and “The Witches of Salem” directed by Andrés Lima at the Grec Barcelona Festival. Next January it will be played at the Dramatic National Center in Madrid. About television, “Dates” in TV3. And “The Sea Cathedral”, coming soon in Antena 3 and Netflix.

I’ve always liked writing songs and I dreamed about publishing my own music album for years. Finally that dream came true. I named it Scents. Eleven songs that talk about myself, about how I have discovered life and my own essence. You can listen to it here.
